EUREF Campus

Innovative office campus in the heart of Berlin

The EUREF Campus in Berlin serves as a real-world laboratory for the energy transition. Its energy concept has been meeting the German federal government's CO₂ climate targets for 2045 since 2014.

From a central energy facility, approximately 175,000 m² of building space is supplied with heating and cooling. Both heritage-listed existing buildings and new constructions are connected to the network.

Since the beginning, BLS Energieplan has been responsible for the design and planning of the campus's technical infrastructure. Based on our planning, the so-called "Energy Workshop" central energy facility was built, and the heating and cooling network was put into operation. Additionally, a second-life battery storage system was integrated, and an intelligent control system was implemented.
