Where steel meets water –
and must prevail
Hydraulic Steel Structures
Hundreds of hydraulic steel structures bear our signature. Many of them engineered for conditions that rule out standard solutions: saline water and tidal forces along the coast, ice impact and bedload transport in alpine regions, aeolian sand and extreme temperatures in arid environments, seismic loading in tectonically active zones.
Our scope of services extends from new construction to rehabilitation, from small-scale installations to complex major infrastructure. Wherever steel and concrete must resist hydraulic loading, we plan and deliver structural waterway engineering and hydraulic steelwork – robust, resilient and designed for long service life.
A special focus lies on floating structures. Floating stability, submersion behaviour, buoyancy analysis – we design and engineer floating steel structures for port facilities, offshore installations and bespoke special-purpose applications. Based on decades of hands-on experience and a proven portfolio of reference projects.
