Partial new construction and upgrading of the Chemnitz viaduct level crossing

The Chemnitz viaduct in the city of Chemnitz was built in 1901 as a four-track railway bridge and has been in continuous use ever since.

The existing railway viaduct over Annaberger Strasse, the Chemnitz watercourse, industrial and brownfield sites and Beckerstrasse is a listed building as a valuable steel structure that characterises the cityscape.
